84% of pensioners in poverty will lose the Winter Fuel Payment as a result of one of the first appalling actions of this Labour Government.
On BBC Politics Live yesterday afternoon, I set out my concerns on Labour’s unforgivable plans to scrap the Winter Fuel Payment for millions of pensioners this Winter. Rest assured, I will be voting against the Government’s proposals.
I firmly believe that pensioners must be afforded dignity and respect in retirement here in Croydon South, and across the country. The Labour Government must reverse this policy.
