Running for re-election

As you have hopefully noticed, I have worked hard for our local area during my time as our MP. I have worked with residents to get things done – and have very often been successful. ✅Secured extended opening hours to ‘all day’ for Purley Hospital’s GP hub
✅Secured a new £22m A&E for Croydon Hospital
✅Agreement for a new medical centre opening in Coulsdon next year
✅Working to ensure Purley has a new pool
✅Secured £18m for Croydon town centre regeneration which is urgently needed ✅Campaigned to get a Directly Elected Mayor to fix the mess left behind by the previous Labour council which bankrupted Croydon
✅Brought Police Live Facial Recognition to Croydon town centre leading to around 100 arrests of wanted criminals in the last few months
✅Responded to a request from Purley businesses and persuaded the then-Chancellor to cut business rates for small shops across the whole country
✅Agreement for a new banking centre in Coulsdon next year
✅Standing up against the terrible planning applications which Labour previously granted ✅Secured £300m to fix the points and signals of the Brighton mainline

I believe this is a better track record of getting things done than most MPs – regardless of political party.

I am therefore asking for your support at the election on July 4th so that I can continue getting things done for our area.

In the meantime, I would like to get your views on local issues affecting us and about the upcoming election.
